It's pretty clear with his history and statements that his litigiousness is and was always about saving face, not cash.
And in this way Karl gave him all that the previous lawsuits couldn't and more. Hell TG are basically fucking nobodies these days, people probably mention them more relating to his drama than from them actually being relevant.
