Alastor is definitely much more determined to break the contract at the end of season 1, perhaps Rosie senses this. Where he was previously happy to go along with her plans because it gave him power, now he'd rather be free and be able to do whatever he wants. If redemption really does break contracts, that actually gives Alastor a reason to try and be redeemed. Though how far it would work if he was only doing it for selfish reasons, who knows.

Yeah, power of friendship, or Charlie somehow. I know some people theorise that Lucifer and by extension, Charlie, can break contracts by virtue of being royals, but we really could do without more 'Lucifer saves the day by being more powerful than everyone else' moments. Hopefully Viv does it justice.
