I know it's a case of comparing piss to shit but I vastly prefer when Awakening was synonymous to FE rather than 3 Houses. At least with Awakening it was a standalone thing but now everyone is unironically basedjak'ing over the 3 Houses extended universe. It's 3 houses or nothing with these people.

Halo as a franchise was completed, nothing could be made that added anything substantial to the franchise without subtracting much more.
It also doesn't help that 343 eroded the gameplay identity of halo and made it another generic shooter.
But like I said adding more sand onto a completed sandcastle just makes established walls crumble
