i've seen a few other fandoms toy or talk about something similar despite knowing that the original person would end up dying (pic related), people like what-if scenarios like this even if gooey specifically probably wouldn't and has enough thought to either not go overboard with the mock matter form or has abolished any negative trait of the species that his control of how dark matter works won't make him spiral.
