The older I get the more this one fucks with me emotionally. Of all the days and holidays Christmas is like the one that is closest to a 'lets not try to kill each other just for today' sort of thing. These kids dont need santa with an M76, they need to be at home with their families. Fucking 90s Jugoslavia with the full blown 'we will not just win militarily but go in and massacre every woman and child as well' conduct was horrible. Not saying that the rather sloppy bombing we did in Serbia was right either, but their government's connections to the military and partisan groups like Arkhan's Tigers should have brought down far more wrath on the leaders than it did. Like full on West Germany for a few decades with Nato taking over until they do their time.
