He probably got issued a PA86 or PM MD 63, completed his conscript service and moved on with his life, as much as one could under a shitty communist regime like Ceausescu's until the revolution. I wouldn't doubt some Soviet and other warsaw pact conscripts and even contract soldiers did hold it that way though, bound to be some when you're rotating through so many bodies a a year and when they're poorly trained.

See how that SMG he's carrying has a bayonet lug on the barrel jacket. That's not a standard feature of the m/45 Submachine gun, it's a special modification hastily rushed out for the UN peacekeeping force in the Congo. Why? Because isolated iron age tribesmen, armed with literal bows and arrows, kept opportunistically attacking UN peacekeepers due to the mistaken belief that these strange pale men were unarmed.

The tribesmen literally didn't understand that the small iron pipe contraptions the white men carried were guns. So the Swedes made bayonet mounts for their submachine guns, so they could install huge WWI-era bayonets on their SMGs, to make it obvious that the guns were indeed weapons.

The Congo is fucking HUGE and covered in dense jungle. When the Bantu peoples, and later the Belgians, invaded/occupied the territory they never controlled/occupied all of it.
Back in the early 1960s there were developed cities, stone age pygmie tribes, and everything in between, all in the same country. It was a wild time where some factions were armed with the latest hardware and training, and other were shooting bows and arrows, others yet were armed with 19th century "Danish" trade guns which are still common weapons among impoverished rural people all over Africa.

You could only have 5 out at anytime. Also you have to think like the enemy and think where they are going to be, but also not have explosives hit that area and set the mine off. Like on resort I would put a punji trap on the cement bridge on that map that ran between the two objectives on the second phase of that map and would pretty much always get one GI not paying attention.

Of all the days and holidays Christmas is like the one that is closest to a 'lets not try to kill each other just for today' sort of thing. These kids dont need santa with an M76, they need to be at home with their families. Fucking 90s Jugoslavia with the full blown 'we will not just win militarily but go in and massacre every woman and child as well' conduct was horrible. Not saying that the rather sloppy bombing we did in Serbia was right either, but their government's connections to the military and partisan groups like Arkhan's Tigers should have brought down far more wrath on the leaders than it did. Like full on West Germany for a few decades with Nato taking over until they do their time.

None of that is any justification of ethnic cleansing against civilians but I wouldn't expect a mongrel slav who looks up to Russia as a retarded role model to understand why you don't have the right to just kill people because you are stronger. Serbian nationalism caused the collapse of the entire old world in the early 20th century if you want to talk about destructive ideologies. I hope the EU mines every gram of mineral you have left. Keep on posturing about how strong you and Russia are and how you will have your revenge for not being allowed to take what you want and kill who you want, your based and trad leaders are whoring your land out to the globohomo west and spreading their cheeks for the EU cock in their ass because it is the only way they can make money and you know it.

You know the entire West (i.e. mainly Germans) was just WAITING for any casus belli to fuck shit up because of years of nobility and national pettiness, frustrations, unchallenged power structures, economy fuckeries and military might boners? WW1 would happen sooner or later, whatever the reason offered. Assassinations were done all the time in history, especially by ideological anarchists in the 19th century. Serbs just really happened to be handy for proper shit stirring that got out of hand because of climax of industrial and technological development when no doctrine existed to utilise it so everyone fumbled. Violence against muslims is always completely justified. The whole stuff with the Croatians who were christian was indeed retarded and typical balkan autism just like all those war crimes in the balkan wars, but crimes against muslims cannot be called crimes. If Bosniaks and Albanians were still Christian today then things would be different and Serbs would actually deserve to be hated for killing them, but they aren't,they are muslim, and thus they need to die.And as for that picture you posted, all balkan nations are guilty of cooperating with the turks to some extent, but albanians and bosniaks are the the worst offenders, out of all balkan peoples they are the only ones who fully embraced islam. If the greeks, bulgarians, serbs, croatians and romanians could resist turkish oppression then why exactly couldn't the albanians and bosniaks as well?

I don't disagree really. But I am trying to shit talk Serbia for a minute here.

Really though Russia is the one who started WWI to start. If you can get people to understand the huge national-level plans and momentum involved, you can compare the order to mobilize akin to reaching for your gun. Whoever draws first might not draw fastest, but once SOMEONE draws, you have to draw/mobilize in response or you will risk losing automatically. Tsar Nicolas cancelling his stand-down of the mobilization after his general called him a pussy is the moment that WWI began and people who say that Germany shot first so they started it don't really understand that the order to mobilize your army is far more appropriate as a catalyst.
>The Willi Nicki telegrams are legit heartbreaking when you see how close they got to standing down, Germany and France were itching to go to war again but if Russia hadnt stepped in with the Serbia affair it didn't all have to go how it did.

I was about to type something about '44 being a bit early for that and it more likely being part of the campaign to kick out the Axis occupation, but no, I looked it up and in '44 there were Commonwealth forces caught in an early dust-up between Communist and anti-Communist forces in Athens.
Apparently they call it the 'Dekemvirana', or December Events.
Apparently Organisation X was involved so there's a nontrivial chance the guy in the German helmet was straight-up part of the collaborationist security battalions, now fighting side by side with the British Army. If that's the case, then there's a non-zero chance he was directly involved in executing people from other resistance groups he was now nominally fighting with.
Modern Greek history is fucking wild.

we tried to teach them that the white man is dangerous and has magic death sticks. but it simply didn't stick. I mean you have to hand it to them the Congolese are very committed to staying as ignorant as they can. you can literally cut iff their hands and they still won't understand that machetes are indeed very sharp.

every crowned head in the west was trying to get their government from going to war even the german "go behave like huns" Kaiser was a moderating element in germany.
as to technology out pacing doctrine, machine guns where well integrated in everyone's doctrine at that point. that whole spiel was invented after the war to cope with how it went, not accurately explaining why.

People forget pretty quickly that the early days of WW1 were actually pretty mobile. No amount of doctrine or planning, putting aside quality, can prepare you for half the planet's industrial output and multiple empires being put into a state of total war if that's outside your possibility space.
It's a little beyond if people had properly accounted for the machine gun, more that nobody had even seen what was possible for the industrial age of warfare.

people had seen how modern industrial war worked in the Boer and japano-russian wars and before then how industrial war worked in the 1879, crimean and US civil war.
both sides knew how fucked shit would get if things bogged down. that's why the germans tried to keep tge war mobile long past where they should have started to dig in.
the problem and hope was that while modern artillery was deadly, it was still horse drawn and spotting still relied on telephone wire being put out or runners.
once the lines stabilized the guns went to work and the predicted real horror followed.

While they gave a taste I'd debate if they were truly comparable to the Great War, but that's neither here nor there.
And yeah, as soon as things bogged down is when it became the WW1 we all picture. Hence everyone desperately trying to develop some edge that'd allow a breakthrough big enough to gain the initiative and un-bog the lines.

That's what I'm saying. I'm not blaming anyone in particular, not just monarchs, not just individual governments or generals or others. But it was, ultimately, a prevailing sentiment and mindset, thousand things colliding into an avalanche, waiting for the first pebble to come loose. It was an unmitigated fuck-up. The reason why I mentioned Germany was really just a formal one, when it comes to official declarations of war. It had been brewing already for a long, long time. And not just West, mind you, if you wanna be nit-picky, but that's where the centre of gravity undisputedly was, both from the military and from the political perspective

Anon here already summed up some of my thoughts pretty well >>64155312
It was not meant just in the sense of the military technology, but rather the disposition of a peaking industrial base, progress in materials, manufacture, together with the technology. Ands specifically, the sheer fucking scale, especially on a peer level, with multiple fronts and with multiple belligerents, was absolutely unprecedented and no one was prepared for a war like that. A fuck-up indeed, and it wasn't immediately evident it was a major one. The kind of one you can't backtrack from without uprooting a lot of your or your enemy's shit

>Serbians ruined the West in 1914
That's not just an irrational assessment coupled with allegiance to abstract polities, blocs and nations as opposed to anything else, not only an extreme reduction of just about everything and of every player there was, but one that is ultimately irrelevant.
War was inevitable. If it wouldn't happen for one reason and at one time point, it would happen for another, in any other form. Economic interests would never stop, much like British embassy members in Russian Empire wouldn't stop their assassination of Rasputin.

There can be any wars, as many as needed, and the one thing one can be sure will remain the same are plebeians like you. You will screech about some other "responsible" as you continue to be useful idiots, irrelevant idiots, malicious fucks or actual profiteers.
No matter the ethnicity, no matter the blood, time or place, chumps are still chumps.

Less important than the modern artillery all states were using, and the pre-war communications advances.
Infantry could break through machine guns just fine and did regularly. What killed advances was some cunt on a field telephone calling in an artillery concentration on the area you just occupied.

Drug cartels still exist, in case you forgot. Somebody grew them. Now they get even more equipment.
But that's a bit too edgy for the purposes of your bravado innit?

Wtf are you talking about? And yes, drug cartels can be laid at Serbia's door too. WW1 literally broke the West, so everything bad that's happened since then is pretty much Serbia's fault.

I talk about "the worst people on earth" titulature, of-course. It's a bit out of touch with reality. Just a tiniest bit.
A tiiiiiiiiniest bit out of touch, offensively so, much like any "culpability" calls you may choose to make, as if some filthy hypocrite has any pretense to justice when he makes sweeping generalizations about masses of people he knows utterly nothing about, and some of which would betray him for any imaginable reason, and at the same time shall not even once in his life face any evil at all, much less for free in perpetuity.

Your West does not matter. Neither does somebody elses' East, or any other such item. These are merely things that are made. They are not made for you, they are not made by you, and they do not, and never did belong to you, neither by intention, nor by intellectual power, nor by economical resource distribution, nor by sovereignty-in-practice and direct control capability, in spite of any banner-sharing sentiments.
They are tools.
Whether you put so much importance on them that you lament their state because you're incapable of life without abstract forms of cybernetics, including possibility that you can't create your own analogues...
Or because you have a sense of camaraderie solely to said bloc, or to people and (((people))) in it...
...that in all likelihood is more economic in practice, than actual camaraderie, to say nothing about pan-human camaraderie...
Or because it is some "history" attached that matters to them...
They are still tools. They are not the World.
And still not yours.

With that minor pretext dealt with, here's the actual point:

The title of The Worst People On Earth does not belong to the Serbians.

You don't quite get what truly Worst is, and so, the next time you shall engage in such couch politician takes on evil and the nature of sin you should think twice, because you CAN be called out on both incorrectness and cowardice, especially since there are "things" happening.
That is all.

Even if I'm perpetually disgusted by most imageboarders and completely sick of borderline inescapable politics on the net and IRL, it still was irrational of me to lash out like that, to a poster that seems as typically foolish, but more reasonable than other trash here.
As such I would like to apologize, and if you're just, however... primitive, ignorant and based on poor foundation your tribalism may be, I hope you'll have a nice day. Maybe at least some of us will still smile in this world.
