Not true. Not if you look at it demographically. Look here. One little Russian town of 900. 42 fighting age males died. These little villages were already disappearing, and russia was already in demographic decline. Millions have left, and hundreds of thousands have died. Not to mention, all of the oil that has just went up in flames, all of the production that went into things that were immediately destroyed, all of the armor they lost, ect. There's no way you can claim this as anything other than an absolute disaster for Russia, especially considering that Moscow already had ALL of Ukraine last century.
