They've been trying to take Pokrovsk, as their main initiative, for over a year and a half. They literally can't take it. WHY CAN'T THEY TAKE IT? Because they need to flatten the towns they take, to nothing, in order to clear them. And they can't flatten any city of any substance, especially since their glide bombs are not as effective anymore. And, this pokrovsk is only a 60,000 pre-war population town. They will NEVER take any city of any substantial size. And, we are about to give them 3500 cruise missiles (Extended Range Active Missile (ERAM)) with 500kg warheads and a 300 mile range, by the way. They are going to lose every hydrocarbons related target within that range.
