There's no survival crafting, it's an open world shooter. There's a lot of roaming and exploring, mostly driving between different places. There's the standard open world completion stuff where you have to clear out FEMA camps of zombies and switch on radio towers. There are a few good characters and the game is generally quite well written, on a par with a mid level TV show.

For the price they're asking for it now it's OK, you'll probably get your money's worth
