Because for some reason, "artists" can't actually look at real space and study a bit of real astrophysics. They're basing their idea of space on old fiction of space and creating this boring loop of unoriginality.

I think about this a lot and I spent a lot of time looking at actual images of space stuff, wish I was an artist so I could capture it's real essence for video games.
