Crackpot Theory: I don’t think Al is going to die. Someone is going to show him Priscilla’s book of the dead and because he hasn’t killed anyone, Subaru will forgive him. This will cause him to want revenge against Echidna, who will be the end villain alongside Pandora. His importance to the story and ability are way too strong to just kill him off. Throwing himself and/or Subaru into the geyser is going to cause a huge fuckup and not what Al expects to happen. There is not going to be a Great Reset because too much has happened, Roy is dead and Rem is back. Subaru’s checkpoint will be the moment he’s unsealed. Then it’s up to Subaru and Al to fix all this shit before Satella overpowers weakened Reinhard and kills everyone.
