...and once you have all phials completely full and an active charge on both your sword component and shield component, you can then combine the two into a very large axe called a Morph Blade to start dishing out real damage, using the Amped Elemental Discharge attack to release all that energy at once as a series of explosions that will usually send a monster flying while breaking or crippling a ton of parts all at once, with the explosions reaching high enough that they can usually knock flying enemies out of the air in the process. Of course, you can still change your CB over to Morph Blade Mode and swing it around without charging it to land some decent damage, but the real power comes from crippling enemies with all that stored energy.
Sadly, Rathalos Prime's Axelion is a little stumpy for an actual Charge Blade (the shield part should be much larger, and the sword part usually connects to a longer component that slides out of the shield and holds onto the blade itself, making the weapon in Morph Blade mode about as big as the Hunter), but it gets the point across. I'm just happy to see someone make a Charge Blade at all, since most Monster Hunter figures tend to stick to either the Greatsword, normal Sword and Shield, or Long Sword.
Also, Fatalis retool from TM2 Megatron when? (Never).
