The thing is if Toby commited to Berdly fucking dying, the entire story would have suffered a change because it's a small town, it would have been hard to focus on the church dark world, the main focus is the suffering between Kris and Noelle so far and the festival for sure something huge will happen, but huge enough to change the entire story? doubt
