You log in every day to do Lessons, collect the AP from your cafe, rewards for winning in PvP. If you don't log in every day, your AP overflows and you're wasting it.
There are daily tasks in the form of things like "do 3 bounties" or "collect 5 artifacts" but you get those completed just by spending your daily AP.

Then there are raids. Total Assault and Joint Fire Drill require you to do them every day but Grand Assault you can do it all on the same day, even save for the last one if you want.
Raids are only one week long so, at the beginning of a month, it's usually the Fire Drill, then it ends and it's something else, then it ends and it's something...sometimes there are weeks with nothing to do, no events or raids, we call those Dead Weeks.

This sounds like a lot but, most days, we can get everything done in under 10 minutes.
