Do you think her still being a second kindred in the intervalo is due to the shoes fucking with the ascension process due to loss of the family, and being sealed up moments prior isn't letting it happen, or is second kindred as high as you can go if everyone else dies, and the only way to become a first kindred is to be directly turned by the progenitor?

I feel like assuming they made it all the way through and killed the Sancho equivalent of that world is a little premature no? If it's anything like our world, that Sancho would also not even be around, or forgot who they were.
