I don't know if this is strictly related to Windows but I'll try anyway
My grandfather is writing a sort of memoir/my story since he has nothing else to do while being a pensioner . He has been using Word for years, but sometime recently for whatever reason he can't anymore. Presumably no valid license and that shit is expensive as fuck, too expensive for a pensioner anyway.
I showed him, and made it as easy as possible, how to use Online Office (365 Online or whatever) which works, but is still a bit clunky, needlessly complex for an old man like him.
How hard would it be to "spoof" a license for Office so he could continue to use what he knows? I know next to nothing about Office anymore - I haven't used it since I was in school and only use LaTeX nowadays.
