I think having the player have to deal with differing problems depending on their build is a big part of good RPG design so yes, but that's what the sanity thing is about. I didn't really elaborate on how different they would be.

So based off Lily, you get strong buffs from these rare items, that being stealth boys. They last longer for you, and are better than any drug in the game. HOWEVER, addiction will cause you to slowly take damage to your sanity across the duration of the withdrawal, which will increase your damage by up to 50%, but also increasingly reduce ALL special stats except Luck, Endurance, and Strength more for each tier of "radiation damage".To reduce your insanity, you must kill large enemies, perform stealth criticals, use stealth boys, or take extremely rare post war drugs designed for your kind. Prewar schizophrenia medications work like Rad X and reduce insanity taken. Traits can be taken to negate sanity relief from attacks and kills.

At high levels of insanity, occasional audio clips of Jim Cummings as the master will play in your head out of nowhere to scare you.
