0079 is good shit if you don't mind some of the jank. Just make sure you watch the series instead of the compilation movies and watch it subbed.
The dub is really awful and worse yet, has an entirely different SFX track full of generic sci fi SFX instead of the classic sunrise mecha sounds.
A better dub might be out there now but I haven't seen it.
