Got it for an amazing sale last year. Only paid $140 for it, which is less than I paid for my old 1080p monitor.
4k is really the only way to escape the awful dithered hair and greasy smear of games now. I still keep my 1080p screen around to play a couple old games which do not scale to 4k well at all.

Also have a 1440p monitor lying around but was kinda unimpressed; it seems like the worst of both worlds compared to 1080p and 4k.
