Cool shit, I love this more variable way of building characters. I'll be honest I don't really hate the pretty tieflings at all, but I like the idea that having demonic heritage is like a lottery where you either can be an inhumanly attractive supermodel or a hideous mutant freak. Fiends themselves often follow that sort of variance between them don't they? Honestly the only mistake DnD tries to do is make all tieflings look uniform but that's probably more of a consequence of trying to solidify their "brand identity" more then anything.
