There might have been less but it was never really gone. Yakiimon, Bacomon and the Ekakimon are pure Digimon. Blastmon was pretty great too. The esely 2010s around Xros Wars also gave us the Three Musketeers and the rest of the Bancho Digimon. And Omegamon Zwart Destroyed was like more edgy than Devimon.
