anons, my car still stutters.
its fine 90% of the time.
then randomly im driving and it no longer wants to accelerate and is losing RPMs.
It does not want to rev higher. feels like 2step.
this goes away after 5 seconds. comes back 3 minutes later, then doesnt show up again for rest of the day.
sometimes its fine for a week
sometimes it does off and on for the entire drive.
ive looked into a bunch of things and replaced everything except the intake and TPS. Both have been tested.
new fuel pump, new injectors, new ignitor, new coils, new plugs and wires, cleaned up corroded wires, many new plugs, many new sensors. engine is super clean, no varnish at all.
ive had this issue ever since i got the car, everytime I replace something or think I found the problem, it keeps coming back.
compression is good. #3 is 20 psi lower than the rest. plugs all look good. engine runs a bit rich.

What could this be? TPS acting up randomly?
knock sensor detecting knock?

its a 1.8 in an NA6.
