spotting you isn't automatic as far as i'm aware outside of recon ADS. if someone put an orange circle on you then its either a recon sensor, you got shot by a sniper rifle, or someone looked at you and pressed Q while in their knocked state or while looking at you.

its hard to see but the diamond has a triangle inside it, which means recon sensor is detecting you
