My son has Autism. He has been vaccinated as per the governments immunisation schedule. Doctors in this country won't help, they're not interested in helping him and only want to 'manage' his condition. Is it true that there is a link between gut health and Autism? Where do I start researching? What are some good sources of information. I have NO scientific understanding of this topic but need to start learning because I'm the only person interested in helping this boy.

Not exaggerating when I say I have virtually no memory of my entire childhood. I don't mean pre-primary I mean even my teen years as well, holidays and shit. And the memories I do have are of nothing signficant, stuff like sitting in various classrooms at different ages with different teachers. Beyond that, nothing.

I suspect it's to do with living in my head the whole time. Like I am never actually present with other people, there is always a translation layer, a separation layer, between how I act / respond to people and what I'm actually thinking in my head. So I've never been authentic with anyone or had any authentic experiences. Instead my whole life is just a jumble of thoughts rattling around my own head, none of which were ever solidified by being shared in their true form with another person in the flesh.
