You guys are going to call me a schizo for this one, but when Ragatha said "not anymore" I thought she was talking about herself. That way makes the whole series WAY more interesting than it being about some boring no name dead frog who we're never going to meet. In fact every time they talk about characters who we will never see should have just been removed or rewritten to be about characters who are actually a part of the show. Idc about Rags's mom or Kinger's wife. Just watch I'm calling it right now, those two will never be important. We will never even know their names.

Imagine if Jax had once BEGGED Ragatha to stay his friend and she refused but like it wasn't nearly as bitter a breakup for her as it was for him and she knows this and she feels bad for him for not having any friends but she just couldn't be his friend anymore becausehe doesn't deserve it. And like, she hates him kind of but she didn't mean to rub it in when Pomni asked about it and Jax felt betrayed because Ragatha was supposed to be like mature and respectful about it.

Or alternatively, Jax is or was in LOVE with Ragatha and she knows this but turned him down before.
