>Makes extremely angry cartoon reviews acting like Spongebob killed his parents
>Regrets this behavior and apologies
>People still hold it against him years later
>Lost views and subscribers even as his content improved
>His only recent video people pay attention to is the one where he made the dumb Turning Red 9/11 point, and people assume all his newer content is on the level. Even though he has completely renounced said opinion.
>He's just an autistic guy trying to do his best and entertain us with his content
>Provides really interesting opinions and a unique perspective about many topics.

If you want to actually hear him talk about what he has gone through, watch his "Hi It's Me" video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUUqCExqhBo ) and his "My Top 10 Worst Videos" list ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwRmJNfR6i4 ). And for a really good overview and outside perspective on his career, watch the Joon the King documentary on him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaRfjFUIMpM

His explanation of the #7 spot in particular was just heartbreaking, with him saying how it keeps him up at night how his content was by far the most popular it was ever been when his videos were poorly made and at their most toxic. Once he put more effort and improved his tone and criticisms, his views went down.

He also later put up 3 very interesting journals where he ranked his first 100 Animated Atrocities videos from worst to best:

He is more capable of self-reflection than most people. He has very interesting opinions that are worth listening to, and I hope he will be successful with his future content. I wish him well.
