They just want the thread to be a bunch of faceless NPCs who circle jerk the same 5 opinions and then shit on other social media sites that do the same thing while pretending they don't also do it. Some of it is also just having no personality to drive interactions or entertainment. I get it, talk about VNs. But I literally blog post Clannad, I'd say even more if I was more familiar with the ones people talk about here. But I only got back into them in 2023 so there's a lot I'm learning.
