Clem does show some things that are out of the ordinary from an average child even back in S1, she's written to be more mature for her age at least compared to Duck. She slowly becomes more competent and shows willingness to help, like how she at first is hesitant to go through the air duct in the meat locker but in later episodes she unlocks the door of the mansion no questions asked, by that point was the one that found the boat by searching on her own, and also she sneaked away from the care of Ben and Christa to follow Lee and Kenny through a zombie infested city without being detected, or how can she save Molly's life by taking a tough shot, and then there's her off-screen feat of giving Lee some time by taking him into the store at the end.
But other anons are right, her going with the stranger was her biggest fuck up and a substantial one, although that shit scarred her for life.
