If you've never been with a woman who is competent, it's quite fascinating. She did have some neurosis though due to her overbearing mother & developed pancreatitis at the age of 24.

Over the years, I've dated several women with short hair, masc stylistic traits, etc. That's my type. My ideal girlfriend would be petite, have a pixie cut, and want to talk about her interests with me.

I'm reasonably attractive and exercise and those girls typically find me intimidating, whereas very feminine ones like me. But the girls who dress super fem, act super fem, etc. don't appeal to me. I can find them physically attractive, but I don't want to be in a relationship with them.

I think part of the issue is that I grew up with a very overbearing mom who always dressed up & acted like she was a trophy wife. I think my issues with my mom caused me to try to find a "loophole" and pursue women who were very different from her. Has anyone else experienced this?

I remember seeing reruns of Star Trek DS9 and wishing that I could meet a woman like Dax (who remembers a past life as a guy). I don't like trans women and would never date one. The appeal is solely natal women with masc traits. It's a weird preference.
