Chiaki Konaka was pissed that the Dark Ocean episode of Digimon Adventure 02 wasn't an arc instead. He and other writers were going to break their contracts and leave Toei. Toei instead Konaka and the rights for Digimon Tamers in order to keep them

Remaining jewel-themed locations in Lacuna that correspond to deck colors: Emerald Coast, Amethyst City, Obsidian Desert, and Amber Ruins. If they keep doing the Renamon thing and give new color lines to existing mons, who would you like for the Green, Purple, Yellow and Black decks?
