Even after I grinded for those random drops to do those 2 optional fights in the Sun, I ultimately just didn't do them. I was just kinda tired of the game and didn't feel like putting in the effort for those fights.
But that's why I made that separate save, if in case I do ever want to do them without going full NG+

That stuff was good, but it just didn't grip me much. The mystery of 1 was just more appealing, and I think the characters got to shine more. At times 2 almost had this 'going through the motions' feel to it with it's pacing.
