FE7 and Awakening are the usual recs. But if you see one that looks more to your taste go try that one out instead.
The only one I wouldn't recommend is Engage, not because I think it's bad, I actually think it's the best of the nuFE games. But because it's an anniversary game and you're not gonna have a fucking clue who anybody is or any of the references being made.
