I guess I'll address this while we're at it.
We're not judged the way you think. There's no divine good/badboi code we're measured against. It's just karma that affects and aligns us with certain results. Not as punishment or reward (which is also dumbass corruption of karma's meaning), just a natural result of thoughts, emotions, our nature that shapes world's reaction and response toward such karmic imbalance we see as rewarding/punishing. That's why it cannot be truly cheated and reaches the essence of us - because it's not an external entity evaluating us but we directly adding another stroke to the painting of our fate and form with every thought, held value and action.
>How could we improve without memory of -why- we got recycled in the first place?
Now, having memory would help making informed decisions but as mentioned in previous post, there's some impact and advancement of the soul anyway that affects its future fate. So while you don't hold (at least till getting a higher degree of spiritual development) full wisdom of previous incarnations, their wisdom will slightly affect you and who you are, what decisions you make now, for better or worse. It's not ideal (and may be indeed be made worse by exploitative entities) but over lifetimes adding up to not insignificant effect
