Do modern chinese kids, or whoever the fuck the main hoyo audience, really care about all that shit enough to warrant completely dismantling the established settings of your game? Do those kind of things really bring profit? Couldn't they take the story in another direction, keeping it more consistent with the original story, and have a comparable stream of revenue?
