As long as you build your Yi Xuan around Fufu's buffs, she should be an improvement over Trigger.
Trigger is a multiplicative 35% damage increase, 23% against stunned enemies. She can also add 20% DMG increase if you have Qingyi's W-Engine.
This is what Ju Fufu has to beat.
Her CRIT DMG buff is much weaker than Trigger's multiplier increase, but during the stun (where you'll be doing most of your damage) it can be about as good if your build accounts for it properly.
Coupled with the Ultimate buff, the overall rotation damage should go up, and Fufu refunds 300 Decibels on every Ultimate use, and Yi Xuan has two Ultimates, so her Decibel one will effectively cost 2400 instead of 3000 on average.

Yi Xuan/Fufu/Trigger should be pretty good as well.

Impact only gives you a bigger shield and faster stuns.
Both matter extremely rarely. Sometimes having a bigger shield would allow you to face tank a boss attack/combo and still have some shield left, but I ran Caesar in my main squad from 1.2 till the late 1.5, and I encountered that situation like twice.
Same with Impact, there will be cases where having some more will get you an extra stun or a quicker stun, but that's a rare occurrence. And nothing stops you from swapping back if you do get a fight where you realize you are just a little bit short of getting a better stun.

That being said, the Reel Projector's tertiary effect looks useless to me.
Without the signature, I'd run one of the:

Energy Generation Rate increase you can pass on. A minor buff but an off-field buff still.
Useful to Caesar as well, as her best tool is her EX.
Only makes sense if you're fishing for parries with Caesar, though. (And I never checked if getting a parry off counts as being attacked)

Very useful effect if you spend any time on-field with Caesar, and especially if you're trying to make use of the Assault access Caesar provides

This isn't really how this works anon. Characters are more than buffs.

For starters, Yu Fufu gives a lot more than just 300 decibels, because of how you generally waste decibles. When do you use your ult? IMMEDIATELY when it's available? That's rare, let's be honest here.
Simple example with Zhu: You wait till there's a stun. Duh. And most offensive characters do exactly that or have otherwise a specific rotation they'd do, while stunners don't do it vs. stunned enemies and so on. This is assuming you aren't in DU fights where time is about to run out.
The cap increase implies that this completely normal play you do will no longer waste decibels. As a result, ANY char gets up to 1000 extra decibels from her, while Attackers get 300 extra on top. This isn't just something for Yi Xuan. Far from it.

Next there's stunning and damage. Especially the latter Yu Fufu simply does more of. Her stun speed isn't worse than Trigger's, but in this particular Yi Xuan case, Trigger's stun speed goes down to gutter tier due to her passive not triggering. So she stuns much faster, and can do so a lot more bursty in case that helps. (most of her stunning comes from ex/ults also further triggering her chains). Speaking of chains, they give good decibels.

Trigger isn't bad, but Yu Fufu has her own major advantages that are admittedly not necessarily easy to see. Also, fun fact: Yu Fufu works really well WITH Trigger (less so with Yi Xuan, but with on field Attackers), due to Trigger having pathetically low crit damage. Normally S-Anby was supposed to fix this, but Yu Fufu can also do so.

Except they didnt. Everything they stated is completely rooted in science and in line with the science of the game. Ether reacts to frequencies as was made evident by Astra and her microphone. What Yixuan managed to do is find a way to intercept those frequencies and control them, she likely needs some sort of apparatus to do this (the gourd on her back) but the proxies can because of their eye implants. None of the other disciples can manipulate ether like she can by the way. Her auric ink is also just ferrofluid that reacts to her magnetic field which she can control. Remember when she told the proxy to head southwest when we first met her in the hollow? Hollows mess with your magnetic field and thus your sense of direction which is why carrots on necessary. Due to Yixuan being able to control her own field she can consistently remain rooted. Yi xuan also says she doesnt believe in magic or feng shui

When Astra is in Cadenza mode, and in switch a character via QA, when the the QA prompt is not colored purple, does Astra still use her energy?
I'm thinking about how should I proceed when I want to buff my main DPS for a burst. When she's already on the field, I'd have to first switch to the third character, then back to the main DPS again. And if Astra uses energy for the first switch, she might not have enough for the second.
Is there a better way to cycle between characters in this situation? Can I go back to Astra to re-enter Cadenza and trigger QA from the main DPS directly? She seems to be proccing QA constantly when she's in that mode and I can hardly find the time when the shoulder buttons would let me switch to Astra, instead of juggling the other two characters.

They do a good job with having characters show back up in various events I feel. Belobog hasn't been around for a while so they get a spotlight this time. Mockingbird was literally the last patch. You get representation through the individuals showing up in events (i.e, Caesar and Miyabi movie dates)
I like the idea of whole factions getting the spotlight like a rotational thing.
If anything, there's been a lack of VH which considering they've been in most patches in some form or another so far they deserve a little bit of a break.
