To most newfags the concept of returning to a previous setting is completely alien.
You have to remember, the majority of this fanbase have only played Awakening, Fates, Three Houses and maybe Engage.

Awakening wears the actual lore of Archanea loosely (these fans also haven't played Marth's games anyway) and made a dumpsterfire of the setting so bad that we've never gone back.
Fates and Engage are loreless, historyless, storyless empty worlds with bad reputations so obviously they've never returned to those.

For most newfags Houses -> Weave is the first time they've seen the concept of setting two FE games in the same world but in different time periods/continents.
