What was the proof he was in MS13? It's been months and they were so hard up for evidence they put out that weed, smiley, cross, skull tattoo that no one but anons can make any assumptions about. There is still no official report, no translation that helps people identify others based on that code. MS13 has a distinct set of imagery so membership is instantly recognizable. Being a covert operative who needs to explain how those no M, S, one, three symbols mean MS13 doesn't make sense. No support coming out to make it official and support Trump in using that pic as evidence, especially when he insists it's clear as if the superimposed M, S, one, and three are on his hand.

It was, the tattoos weren't why he was being deported and they had dirt on him. Trump posing with the tattoos and then getting mad about either thinking the letter MS13 are the tattoo or the picture not being uncritically believed as proof of gang membership while he and everyone around him refuses to provide explanation about the code shouldn't have happened. The only way this could happen is that Trump thought the picture made it obvious to everyone. Why he would believe that, we'll never know, but I find it fascinating it happened at all. I want to know their process for finding out these new gang codes.

Either way, Trump made it clear that the system of identifying gang tattoos to prove gang membership was flimsy. It's not necessary to have gang tattoos to be part of a gang, making this whole thing unnecessary, but it highlights the point system ICE uses for deportation and on that list is "any tattoos we believe are gang related".
