the AEGIS ashore is basically just an arleigh burke destroyer built on land, with the same radar and VLS systems as the ship. That would give 360 degree of protection over the entirety of the UK against russian ballistic missiles and hypersonics via SM-3 and SM-6. Then scatter a few Patriots batteries around cities/critical military sites and sky ceptor to defend the Patriots/AEGIS ashore when they are getting saturated and run out of missiles against cruise missile spam before they can reload.
