This. I hear the argument "it makes the game more accessible" way too much. It's a piss poor argument that doesn't hold water.

Right now, botting is the worst I think I've ever seen. And it's affects the vast majority of the player base and puts anyone who isn't botting (or running a bot farm) at serious disadvantage. Suddenly, skilling is worth a lot less. Drops are worth a lot less. And your time invested into the game, guess what..... is worth a lot less. And sure if the bots were suddenly gone, then items would sky rocket in price, and players wouldn't be able to buy w/e the fuck they want. But then skilling/pvm would be more worthwhile and worth way more gold.

Also fuck membership bonds. That pay2win shit is almost bad as the bots for the similar reasons.
