Unreal engine is just too hard to use properly. You get really impressive graphics out of the box, but if you want to optimize or even make shit like Nanite or Lumen performant, you need some guy with 15 years of UE experience. And considering nobody used this shit until like 10 years ago, most of the UE games on the market are the work of devs with like 3 yoe max.
