You can't compare base/celebrations zard to this moltres. Few people can afford a base set zard, and all of them are actual collectors who care about the difference because base set is older, rarer, etc.. A larger group of collectors who can't afford a base set zard will settle for a base2 or a celebrations or any other cheaper reprint, while the base one maintains its "status".

Now consider the moltres, it's not old, it's not even out of print, it's from a set that came out fucking 4 months ago, a set that will be reprinted for another 18 months. The only reason moltres price is so high is that we are in the middle of a scalping FOMO hell, and for each genuine collector there's 10 sheeps who would buy anything at any price just because a youtube video told them to hurry. Outside of this current scenario the moltres SIR would be 30-50$ at most, and you would be right in comparing it to any other reprint. but in this scenario the collectors community is bloated by tens of thousands of retards, so a promo moltres will surely drive most of these retards away from the DR SIR, for which demand will tank, and the other side of the retard team will start panic-selling.
Again, in case my point was missed in this wall of text: moltres SIR is in a modern set that is 4 MONTHS OLD and still IN PRINT for the next year and a half.
Sorry for your Collectr graph, but your DR investment took a big hit and you can't shill your way out of it.
