Rossman is a bitter cynic who never has anything good to say about anything. The average person has no business opening up a phone or a laptop anyway, I'm fine with enough gatekeeping so those people can't do it. The only thing that was truly BS was the software locked parts but they did away with that at least.
Most of the iphone hardware seems pretty decent, they use good cameras with sony sensors...it's at least on par with other manufacturers.
I do enjoy the amount of seethe that apple causes, it's quite impressive.
