yeah I seem to remember a few custom mini-1911 .45 ACPs, ones that have 5- or 6- round capacity.
Colt Mustang and Defender iirc have a full 7-round capacity and grip
there was an earlier one called the Colt Officer's .45 ACP that had 6-round capacity
the AMT Backup (also chambered in .380) was the one I was thinking of, 5-round capacity in .45
it's not really a 1911 though, SAO or DAO depending on the variant

9 mm-chambered micro 1911s, the SIG P938 SAS Gen 2 seemes neat for a deep cover backup. 'Melted' with a top of slide trough, it's reminiscent of the ASP
