taking it easy on my day off
today i had a dream that i was going on a "trip" to a very distant district of my city, which doesn't even exist irl but it was this isolated reserve area with lots of nature and almost no people around
i was supposed to go with an anon i talked to in this board some time ago and i remember us looking at the map apps to see what could bring us there, because at first i just grabbed my bike and would have her ride along with me, but when she told me where we would be going to, i was like
>that's way too far to go by bike, let's check the maps

so there we were, looking at bus routes, subway and train lines, trying to plot a course because no single transport method would get us there
we'd have to hop off at some point and go by another method, so we checked out which ones would be more convenient and we spent a lot doing that
we finally decided on taking the subway there to the last station and then just going the rest of the way by car (an uber because i can't drive), but as soon as we did, just before we went off, i woke up

it was nice to see another anon in a dream today

taking it easy after another day of work
today i dreamed i was dashing across some battlefield, it was on a shore, full of piers, ports and dry docks, a naval base it looked like
and felt like it too, it was being bombarded for some reason, i guess it was wartime but i was dashing through it trying not to get blasted
but then i had an out of body experience and watched myself running across the field, only to die in an explosion from an artillery shell hitting the side of a dry dock where a ship was
i moved over to my mangled up corpse and just... poked it, but someone else died with me, and his soul was sitting there near mine and telling me not to poke a dead guy, so i went poke him as well
he had an appearance of a balloon dog looking thing, but humanoid at the same time... it's weird to try and explain it, but he got all sad that i was poking him so i gave him a warm hug instead
the kid really liked it so i gave him another one, and apologized for getting us both killed, i guess i blocked his path or something and only realized it later

after i woke up, i was still sad about it
i hope that kid is doing okay, wish i could give him another hug
... frankly i'm not even sure if that was a he or a she, i just assume, lol

also adapter was the issue, now i have both monitors back on
