If you don't want people to criticize your work, don't upload it to public spaces. The moment you release something to public, it will be scrutinized. If you state that your mod adds a spoon, but instead of only adding a spoon, it also adds a spoon, two new books that hadn't existed anywhere in the game prior and changes stat values of random items, get ready for people to come asking questions, because you never mentioned those changes, documented them, or gave people an ability to opt out of them when installing your spoon adding mod.
