My theory for the Backshot bros is that they are going to become fallen angels for indulging in too many earthly pleasures, and then it turns out they are one of many clone angels, they just happen to be the first successful ones, as the others were too unstable. Ramiel will deem them failures and order them to be destroyed

The finale will have the bros team up with the others against a massive clone army.

The stinger of the season would be Panty saying she was secretly a clone this entire time after killing Brief, Kneesocks, and Thane.
