Yeah, shit like that really didn't help but also I think that people were looking for reasons to drop the game anyways, once I saw people saying they weren't playing because of the UI, I knew it was ogre. You also had (and still have) a lot of people saying shit like >>718194104 being the reason for not playing the game, but anybody who has played a fighting game beta can tell you that shit usually doesn't work the first time and the online was already completely functional during the second beta, but most people already checked out at that point.

Sucks because I think CotW is easily the best of the modern fighters, but as long as it still gets its 3 years of planned DLC I can't really find myself caring too much. I am very worried about future SNK fighters becoming extremely dumbed down after their previous two cracks at doing so didn't seem to work, KOFXVI might be pure casualized strive/tekken8/sf6-level trash and that possibility depresses the fuck out of me.
