I wish characters like Bayonetta, Joker and Steve never got in the damn game because now they’ve changed the narrative of Smash being a Ninty celebration into a gaming celebration which attracted a larger crowd outside the core Smash bubble and are filled with non-Nintendo fans who’ll spit in your face for suggesting a character like Dixie Kong instead of le epic hype/aura farm pick like Dante, it was never like this in the Brawl/early Smash 4 speculation days.
