congratulations for finding that out, however late it may be, but at least you have a grand library of adventures that have been made from 15 years ago, never needing to wait for more.
i know the 3ds and steam release versions have these pre-installed level packs in the main menu, about 5-10 hours worth, but you can download more on the distractionware forums as far as i know.
in particular, here is a huge pack with 300+ adventures, but it was made in 2018 and no longer maintained.

i have not played many of these, but someone with that special kind of VVVVVV autism would appreciate this greatly.
dont wear yourself out trying to get every trinket in these levels; there are probably a lot of cases where they are deviously hidden away behind the greatest struggles of mankind. try to just have some good plain fun.
