Reminder that nearly everything we know about Norse mythology comes from the Poetic Edda and Prose Edda, both of which were written down two centuries after Christianization by Christian authors and its clear Christian influence was inserted into the stories (why else do you think the story of Odin hanging from Yggdrasil is so similar to that of Jesus on the cross), the prologue of the Prose Edda even begins with the famous line “In the beginning God created heaven and earth.” Not only that, but the prologue of the Prose Edda also makes use of Euhemerism, a practice where medieval Christian writers claimed that pagan gods were actually mortals deified after death in an attempt to de-legitimize pagan religions, and several stories in the Prose Edda have layers of Euhemerism to them.

“Norse mythology” is not the actual mythology of the Norse, it’s just a heavily Christianized and Euhemerized retelling of it.

Did anyone have an early Aryan awakening? Growing up and in high school my dad held me back a grade and tried getting me into therapy but I conquered and outsmarted all of them even almost strangling a person to death at millitary school. Didn't go to uni because I thought it was phony but sort of want to know to destabilize it. Conquering many a therapist though in my early years definitely helped me awaken though

I am devastated by this news, but it comes at a time when so many other politicians have taken the torch that he lit, and done so much with it, that I can't be bothered.
